Championship Summary:
Providence, R.I.: Congratulations to the women who made Senior Nationals in the 400 Free Relay and 800 Free Relay!!! Emily Kasmer, Natasha Moodie, Alia Atkinson, Kalia Martin, Tiffany Oliver, Krista Mantay. Other great swims and individual Comet scorers were Colton Kleynhans, Ivan Valencia, Tyler Sell, Max Franco, Alex Parada, Alex Estrada, Anthony Fermin, and Alex Falcon. Winning the 100 & 200 breaststroke and 200 freestyle was Alia Atkinson. results
Plantation, FL: Winter Championship Results has the Comets in 8th place (2nd if you combine with travel squad's 1090 pts from Rhode Island!). Daniel Lee won the 50 & 100 backstroke and came in 4th in his age group point standings. Also in the top ten of their age group were Ivan Parada (10th), Steven Cortez (10th), and Michael Vinci (8th). Other individual scorers for the Comets were Rachel Ling, Nicolle Garcia, Danielle Nuszkowski, Andrew Ling, Josh Lee, Daniyel Iglesias, and Carla Smach. Great Job Swimmers!!!
Congratulations to the swimmers who made new junior olympic cut times at our home sub-jo swim meet December 4, 2005! Franco DellaTorre made his first two cuts in the 50 and 100 backstroke. Also making cuts were Marsha Ariol, Katelynn Evans, Marcella Marinheiro, Kimberly Marquez, Danielle Nuszkowski, Rafael Pena, Denes Szakacs-Bodor. See their new cuts here.

Six of our athletes were honored for combining their academic and athletic success and selected by USA Swimming for the 2005 Scholastic All America Team!! Congratulations for your outstanding acheivements!

Men: Our boys were the only swimmers selected within the Florida Gold Coast!!! They are Christopher Grace, Mark Huang, Colton Kleynhans and Michael Vinci.

2005 Spring Junior Olympics will be a meet to remember. Comets placed 4th overall in
combined team scores and set 32 team
records in the process!

At the bi-annual championship meet for Junior Olympic qualifiers, Comets swimmers set an all time high of 32 team records. The
meet was characterized by a bonanza of fast swims and an
enviable level of team spirit and unity. Each night of finals was
another chance to witness CST swimmers achieve lifetime best
times and surpass the competion to win individual and relay
events.

29 Junior Olympic cuts made at Division II Championship, March 4-6 at Tamiami

At the bi-annual championship meet for swimmers below the J.O. standard, 16 athletes accounted for a total of 29 new J.O. cuts.
More than 70 athletes participated of which 34 qualified for finals thus guarantying a top-8 finish.

CST Swimmers Achieved 17 J.O. Cuts at the Broward Sub J.O. Meet, February 12-13
This past weekend was filled with stellar performances culminating in 17 Junior Olympic cuts and five new team records. Several athletes made their career-first J.O. cuts earning them the right to participate in the Junior Olympic Championship taking place in March. Dozens more shaved seconds off their times and brought themselves one step closer to achieving ther goal times.
